The Tasmanian Small Business Council, your opportunity to have a voice.
Small business has been described as “the engine room of the Australian economy.”
There are more than 37,000 small businesses in Tasmania, 30,000 of which are employers. They make up in excess of 96% of all businesses in Tasmania and the sector provides more than half of the private sector employment in state.
The Tasmanian Small Business Council provides the opportunity for you to be a part of an organisation which exists for the prime purpose of “taking action towards furthering the interests and success of Small Businesses in Tasmania.”
No other organisation is charged with a similar responsibility.
Membership is available to industry associations or trade organisations who have a predominately small business membership and that undertake to abide by the rules and constitution of the Tasmanian Small Business Council Inc (ABN 17 614 463 298). Each Organisation member will be entitled to one vote. Associate membership is invited for individuals and businesses who wish to align themselves with the ideals and principles of the TSBC and take advantage of all member benefits.
The Tasmanian Small Business Council is made of representatives from many different small business associations across different industry sectors from around Tasmania.
